100,000 Memorares in May

100,000 Memorares in May over at WDTPRS because Bishop Finn asked for them.

Good idea.

Here is the prayer:

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

I enjoy the prayers handed down in the Church very much. This one is lovely.  So are the prayers in the 1962 Liturgy of the Hours that I purchased recently.  Now I need to learn how to use the multiple volume LOTH, and find someone to help me learn to pronounce the Latin properly.

God bless you all!
